I just showed this to my colleague, as he was stationed at NATO command in Belgium as Kosovo was kicking off. Apparently it's all rubbish, and Gen Mike Jackson was the guy who told the US General to 'eff off :)

That's what the body of the article states in a round about way - but I imagine the BBC thought it'd get better page hits if it focused on the celebrity.
