Title: Arma 3 Missions For Testing
Post by: Tutonic on September 19, 2013, 08:00:01 PM
Comrades,

As you well know, the success of our Arma nights depends on the quality of the missions we have available on our server. Luckily, Arma 3 has some excellent Steam Workshop integration which makes it easier than ever to find and install community produced missions.

You can browse the Arma 3 Steam Workshop here (http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse?appid=107410). Please post up any missions you find which you think are worthy candidates for a dMw Arma night, so that we can get them uploaded to the server for testing.

Basic requirements are that it's a co-op mission, with at least 6 player slots. Use your best judgement as to what sounds fun to play. Revive script missions are preferred, but not essential - we can always try to add them in using the editor.

To get the ball rolling, here are some missions I picked out of the Workshop earlier which are going to be uploaded for testing:

COOP 6 Ranger Recon (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=170075949)
[SP/CO 8] - Op. Edinburgh Break (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=173761941)
COOP 12 Operation Foobar (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=169945904)
co 10 Operation Pearl (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=169417116)
The Infestation [Coop 6] (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=179250041)
CartelInc Co-op 10 players (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=179236596)

Please post any suggestions you have in this thread :)

Are we open to community developed missions too? Obviously as long as they are tested beforehand, I enjoyed creating them in alpha until the updates messed them up, but now we are at main release I'm happy to create some mayhem again for us. I like the idea of playing missions that members have created :boxing:

Absolutely - I'd rather play dMw-created missions than anything else. I assume we could upload them to the Workshop...

Feel free to don my thick skin coat anytime you want. We all know my missions are usually over thought, over ambitious piles of ridiculous difficulty dross, but I still do it.....why can't you!! You've been here long enough to take it on the chin, toughen up princess, I've got your back!

Edinburgh Break was a nice mission - we'll be playing that again I'm sure.

Eagle Nest Altis (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=22634&highlight=REVIVE) has been added to the server for this Sunday's session.
