Title: fsx mulitiplayer night
Post by: sulky_uk on October 30, 2013, 08:25:40 PM
so after discussing this with albert and sparko, we have decided to go with either the 6th or 8th November. the really bad thing is that MS have pulled out from gamespy, but the good thing is the FSX community doesn't care and there are servers that we can direct connect to using LAN settings.

so the aim is to get onto the l4d ts channel for 8pm on what ever night is most popular and using only stock ms planes have a good old mess around

please indicate you favoured night below.

Wednesday 6th would be better for me, we normal do a Flex raid on a Friday night so the 8th would be more difficult.

Flight plan for......?

good night tonight guys cheers, some connection problems at the start for me dont know why, but after i joined had a blast, its feels  good  to get the plane onto the strip as best as you can cause others are watching...gives a sense of achievement. dont mention the  (as i found out in the replay) 4.6 over g pull in the king air that i did....she flapped for a while till the wings gave way !!

I've been getting to know the ILS system in heavy jets and think I finally understand how to use it and the process of catching the glide slope.   The only thing I still struggle with is how to identify the ILS frequency of the destination airport - I've looked at some videos but they seem to show a different version of FS so at the point they press button A then my system does nto do the same thing!    Anyone want to point me in the right direction (a TS chat would probably be easier than a long forum post!).

Apologies to anyone living near Glasgow, it was my 737 that was making all the noise! :P
