Picked up a trade shout from a L1 player this morning, it turned out to from this hunter, who used to be on Silvermoon (Motivated guild, 14/14) and took the free transfer to Kilrogg due to the ridiculous queue times that Silvermoon suffers (about an hour to get onto the server most evenings). She was after info about the realm etc as she was looking for a new raiding guild as Kilrogg seems totally unfriendly.
She's 14/14, was RL for the guild until the guild fell apart following a main tank rage quit (after a night of wiping on HC Immersius). Silvermoon has so many raid guilds that lower down the progress list it is difficult to get people to toe the line, turn up, behave etc as there are so many other guilds who would take them - their 14/14 progress puts them at 66th in terms of 10 man progress on Silvermoon and 88 Alliance 10 mans have gone 14/14, so it's a different raiding world compared to Aszune.
I had a chat to her on TS and she's looking for a social raiding guild with decent progress but still having fun. What she wanted was a perfect fit with us and she reckons her attendance would be high 90%+. She seemed a mature person, she's just finishing her chef(?) exams on Friday so is available to raid thereafter once the realm transfer goes through. She's happy with how we operate and sit people and liked the sound of things.
Took a flyer and after a chat, said that if she posted an application we'd offer her a trial. Hoping to see that app this afternoon, she'd be ready to raid with us from Sunday.
Sounds like a great fit 😀
Just invited her to the guild so if someone can sort a badge out it would be great :)

Edit: badge had already been done, but no permissions had been awarded, so I manually added the forum permission group.

It's all there in the script, so it should work when the script is scheduled to run. :g:
