Title: e-cigarettes
Post by: suicidal_monkey on December 13, 2013, 10:22:25 PM
I have been toying with the idea of getting my mum an e-cigarette but I don't really know many active smokers anymore - does anyone here use e-cigarettes and would you recommend them? Either just in general or a specific brand. I keep seeing them on scan (here (http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/all/miscellaneous/kits-and-accessories)), but I've no idea what makes a decent e-cigarette. Recommendations on a cigarette-flavoured ones would probably help. And where is "normal-strength" in the 9/18/24 mg liquids range there?

Thanks

Blunt introduced me to these at the LAN and they're not at all bad.

The one's he had were Gamucci but I think they're all much of a muchness. http://www.gamucci.com/

The original ones 1.6 were fine although I now have the ultra-light ones. Worth a go if nothing else and they look and feel like ciggies.

Are you using the disposable one (apparently == 2 packs) or the rechargeable one? ...although quite why the disposable one would make sense I'm not sure?

i use cloudstix http://www.cloudstix.com/

i couldnt recommend them more, their reviews are the best ive found and the build quality of their products are top notch....

Also delivery of e-liquid is very reliable and lasts ages...and they dont bombard you with emails, texts and any other forms of promotion.

I started off with the Gamucci (http://www.gamucci.com/) rechargeable cigs. There's the white bit (battery) and the filter looking bit (cartomiser)
These cost about £7 for 3
I used about 2 per day.
They are cheaper if you buy 12x3 and even more-so if you can get a code from the Twitter acc (Alex) (http://@gamuccicig)

Since the LAN I've been using Vapeland (http://www.vapeland.co.uk/) and the ego-t
The juice I use is 'Virginia tobacco' which is as near to a fag as I can get.
This is a much cheaper option, and seems to be better kit too.

Any questions, just ask

I think Sparko and several others were using them at the LAN also.
Need to try them also. I think FatBob had some nice Citron flavour I liked.

It's interesting that a lot of them look like they're made up of pretty  much the same parts but with a different logo on - I'm seeing CE4, CE5,  eGo, EVOD all over the ones that use what looks like an eye-dropper  thing of liquid. I might go for the simpler cartridge style gamucci one  if I can pick one up in a Tescos, see if she takes to it.

Thanks all!
