Guys and Girls,

I think we need a list of those who have pledged and or interested in this, so we have a better idea of how we can run this in the future.


So I will start, I pledge allegiance to the game....

Should we be putting our starting ships down as well.

Aurora LN (https://robertsspaceindustries.com/store/304-rsi-aurora-ln), so will be some sort of support role for bigger ships.
Looks like the most manoeuvrable version of the Aurora and the one with best shields and weapons points, so good for some solo exploration as well.

Only 5 tonnes cargo space initially though, upgradable to 10.

It's about to hit 36 million dollars so I think it's a certainty that it's going to be released. It's the biggest crowd funded projects ever. The pledge is as much about supporting the development and being part of the project as it is about buying a game.

I pledged because I believe in the concept and want to see a game made buy passionate people rather than EA or Microsoft accountants.

I've melted down my 325a and purchased a F7C-R Hornet Tracker in its place. We have quite a few pilots with fighters so I thought a long range scanning ship capable of C&C would be better suited to me and the squadron.

It's worth remembering that the Constellation does have a launch fighter which is pretty quick and is well suited to this role. Not sure how the game dynamics would go about this though. Would it need a separate pilot or would the AI work ok?

Yeah, the Constellation is really something, hopefully we'll be able to fill it up with able gunners during expeditions and other gameplay.  Been reading/watching videos and bigger ships can even re-fuel the small range craft.  Add a tanker and lets go exploring!

as for your getting in and out, as i dont have a cutlass, this will therefore be a rough guide.

if it has a visible door walk up to it, now on my ship there is a specific area where i need to point my cross hairs, the door open/enter icon then appears, i click my use button and bobs your auntie, failing that anyone else got a cutlass?

This works for me ...

Walk up to the cockpit area side-on until the USE prompt appears. Press F once then again. The cockpit should then give access.

Right. Got it. Every blue button has been duly pressed and pressed again. The holowhatsit is showing a spinning gun with ammo. I sit in the gunner's seat and twiddle my thumbs while the targets play tag with each other. :rolleyes:

Well, you can go inside the ship and play with all the stuff in there.

Yes, a full member survey (easy enough to create the survey via Google forms, but a bugger to get everyone to actually reply).  The problem is it might be out of date pretty quickly.  I'll see if I can knock one up and let's see what the response is.

Noticed that we had a discrepancy from forum badge numbers to organization numbers on the RSI website.   47 members, only 44 forum badges issued!  I eventually tracked down Othbarty, Stooby-Doo & Milli who now have their forum badges!   Apologies for the delay.

Thanks - I noticed that Doorman's profile on the RSI forums is now greyed out, so I guess he got a refund.

Pity, but then SC isn't for the feint-hearted! :)

Correct, and in the case of SC I guessed that the the likelihood of me being around when it launched were remote, so I gave my ships to someone who may be there by then, a young whipper-snapper called Jewellsy.:D

Hmm let me think, I would love to try a proper fighter ship, Sabre/Gladius/Vanguar/Cutlass look fun once I sort my config to get stable fps.

You're in as an affiliate member at the moment as your main org is your personal one.   We can't make you a full member unless you make it your main org (which would mean dropping your personal org to affiliate, which for obvious reasons is currently not possible).  

The DMW Board will issue some guidance to members in due course, but in the mean time what I'd personally suggest (this is my  opinion not the DMW board's opinion) is that you try to snaffle up one of the £21 starter packs on sale at the moment, make that new account's toon the boss of your personal org, then add make DMW your main org on Kal-Nor, with Kal-Nor being an affiliate of your personal org.

Yep we love the drama here with all the big girls in the ranks ;) we are almost the version of easterners in star citizen ;) lol only messing but I respect how honest he is with calling himself that
