So, my monitor has decided to pop the osd up randomly whenever it feels like it, which would suggest to me that it's on the way out (either by technical failure or me smashing it)
Any suggestions for a replacement?
far an idea on price/size etc, these 3 have made it onto my list so far -

TBH I would go read some reviews, there are so many 1080p monitors, picking one without some proper guidance is a nightmare.
For example...

Just the first one I stumbled upon :)
It's a year old, but this is still very valid advice: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/02/21/hard-choices-8-things-you-should-know-about-monitors/
I need a new one too but like Chaos mentions, picking a monitor will be difficult as I have lost touch as my monitors are 8 years old (at least!).
I want something around 24" and all the usual HDMI 1080p aspects. As it's for gaming, response rate is crutial too. however, looking across the montiors out there, all of the are 5ms with a few hitting 2ms. Other than that, where do you go from here?
I've gone with one of the Asus ones I listed in the 1st post as I really don't think this monitor is gonna last too much longer & no pc would not be a good thing to have.
