We'll that was a bit disappointing
Being a fan of a conference side, this kind of event is supposed to be exciting .....
Any football fans happy with what their club has done? ... Discuss :D
As a Liverpool supporter, I am a little apprehensive when the January window comes around. Whilst I welcomed the arrival last year of
Daniel Sturridge, :) I will always remember 2 years ago, stitching Chelsea up with an out of form Torres for a juicy £50m :roflmao: and then wasting £35m of it on the next to useless Andy Carrol:doh:.
Overall, like you, I found it boring and I cant understand why we have these 'windows'. Perhaps its to keep that idiot Jim White* of Sky exercised.
*(is there not an emoticon for *anker? )
As a /cough Manchester United fan I think Mata was a good signing but it's not enough.
This season is terrible so far and in all honesty I can't see us in the top four.
Saying that though this season is great, quite a few teams are performing well and it's gona be a close run title.

Yeah it is going to be a good run in up to the end of the season. Being a Premiership neutral it's quite nice to see UTD doing rubbish to be honest, obviously not very nice for you switch but good to see other teams up there.
As for Grimsby we signed a new forward on loan and I saw him in action for the first time yesterday and he is very good. I can't remember his name nor announce it lol but I can't see him being with us long if he carries on playing like he did yesterday. Conference is where it's at :D
Didn't realise BEXHILL was near Manchester, must be an area I, and millions of others are unaware of!!.
Mata will be (not this season) a fabulous signing, but only in the short term{2-4 years}, to give United some credence of respectability in their fight to stay in contention for European places.
It should have been evident over the past FIVE Years that United have been ever cutting their budget for transfers whilst dis-proportiionally rewarding their Investors and Owners.............................United had become the Cash Cow they ALL wanted to MILK................sadly they have continued to milk the old cow without thought of the future.................the Future is NOW..........some will get rich and stay that way.....the fans will pay for them to do so......and certain reputations disgraced to the profits they ALL desire. Sad tale....but Liverpool and Leeds should have provided ample evidence of the GREED of non footballing investors.
Seems the Millionaire footballers may well rue the Bosman agreement in the next ten years!!!
Your right , bexhill is no where near Manchester yet I have family from there :)
Had season ticket for 2 years as my sister still lives there so I could crash with her on the wkends.
I'm a southern red, but at least I've been which many "plastics" can't say.
/sigh another loss

Arsenal fan, we got a midfielder on loan who's out for ages.
We landed him for injury cover.... Ironically.
