Most of you have heard AMD has been working on a new graphics API which has a more direct access to the hardware.
AMD just released beta driver which enables mantle support on CGN chips ;)
So far BF4 and Star swarm has support for it, but with the numbers showing up, more is highly likely coming soon.

the driver
(not sure if there is any difference on the 32 and 64bit driver, their just listed on different places on their site)
32bit - http://www2.ati.com/drivers/beta/amd_catalyst_14.1_betav1.6.exe
64bit - http://www2.ati.com/drivers/beta/amd_catalyst_14.1_betav1.6.exe
... and this beta gets rid of an annoying flicker that's been driving me nuts. Thanks for the headsup :thumb:
Nice fps boost for me on bf4 .... Test range I was running at 48... Flicked on that mantle bad boy and up to 60 tvm :norty:
I've tried these drivers on the Star Swarm Stress Test (it's on Steam) on the Extreme setting. Results speak for themselves.
Tested on my ...

note, it,does contain a minor bug, most people with cpus containing a non amd mantle gpu, will have to disable it, to open the options in bf4. probably not one the will fixed with ease, as the system can't run with two APIs active on dif cores.
yeah oldbloke, im seeing increases around 15-25% in bf4, and a lot less cpu load
