This is DRM taken to whole new levels of consumer rip-off.
Keurig want your next coffee machine to have DRM so that you cannot use non-Keurig coffee capsules in their machine. Despite recent EU legal rulings confirming that non-manufacturer capsules are legally allowed, it seems that the cash cow of your coffee was too big to stop them finding a new way to fleece your wallet.
Way to go Keurig, a new low.

Mine too, it's a bean to cup machine. No way of drm coffee beans!
As soon as the patents expired I went Nespresso. I feel like George.

I went for a De'longhi magnifica a couple years back , no capulses, just lovely ground and bean coffee machine that is still going strong!
I think Spiritus has that one too and seemed very happy with it. It certainly seemed to kick out some decent coffee during our recent visit.
I've got the perfecta, fantastic machine.
I got a jar of coffee from Aldi, because I'm cheap. :)
I'm cheap too so have had used these for years.
