dMw are pleased to announce the purchase of our new £2,500 server, BlackAdder5 (BA5).  

The server should arrive in the rack tomorrow, following which we'll start the process of remote installation of our software and the migration of data and server files.   BA5 is specced for the following:

Intel Xeon E3-1240v3 Quad Core (3.40GHz 8MB)
32GB RAM
2 x 500GB HDDs
4 year Next Business Day warranty & support package
Lights Out remote administration

Once BA5 has been fully commissioned, then BA4 will be removed from the rack and retired into a backup role.

dMw would like to thank everyone for their most generous donations, without which the server purchase would have been impossible.

BA5 has arrived, but without the necessary rails to mount it into the rack! :blush:  

Rails should have arrived on site today, so fingers crossed we'll be starting the config RealSoonNowTM
