I have about 3GB of assorted ram chips... an old IBM RS/6000 server with AIX (minus scsi HDD's) That kiddie was £20,000 new!!!! Will probably end up in the skip

A few mobo's, several vid cards, loads of network cards, a couple of old cases, one HUGE tower case (I think DCG wants that one. Will bring it back one day, but I need a crane to lift the damn thing)

Most of it is junk though. I'll look at the memory and see if it's worth bringing. (some is old 72 pin dimms! Very rare now)

they are old AT systems (p200 I think). no good for modern mobos. OK for an old system to turn into a linux router, or cheap word processor.

I'm certainly in the look out for a fairly large case if there's anything going.  Apart from that i've got a 1Gig HD sat here doing nowt that you can have for say.....  nothing?

Apart from that i've got an ISA 56k Modem and a PCI 56k modem(no drivers), a celeron 466.

Wouldn't mind any fans or fan grilles if anyone has them, or any old PSU's, working or not. (AT or ATX)

/engage fiddle with broken things mode.

Not mine but i got a mate selling a 6Gig HD for a tenner.

I been to all those sites and more sheepy, but wasnt wanting to pay like £10 just for a fancy grill to cover a fan hole, or paying £15 for a fan that i can get for for tons less at a local electronics store.

How much you pay for your cold cathode's TL??

I got my UV cathode for £14, thats including cathode and inverter and vat.   :P

I have 14 of 128Mb PC100 ECC SDRAM memory (NB it is registered/buffered so will not suit all motherboards). It is good stuff (Compaq labelled but actually made by Crucial) and was left over after we upgraded a heap of servers. I currently have 512mb of it in my daughters PC (its a gigabyte 6BXE board) and it is cracking :-)

Anyone want some? Cost is free but you pay postage.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Onl..._Lights_72.html (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Case_Lights_72.html) is where I got mine from (CM-002-GE) - I had to go back and check where they came from (I had forgotten!).  That would make the answer to your question £27.61 per kit including postage.

So I think the next queston is where did you go to get a 12" 'proper' cold cathode kit for £14 inc VAT & P&P ????  Your price seems to be about half the UK price for them........url please I want to look!

Oh yeah, I forgot....I am also looking for some stuff to upgrade a Dell PII 266Mhz to something slightly faster.  So I am on the lookout for an ATX mobo, RAM & CPU.

BlueBall - What mobos does that RAM work with?  If I can get a mobo to fit and a CPU to fill the hole in the middle, then I'd probably be interested in about 512MB of that there RAM......   pm me if you get a chance....cheers.

Ahh it isnt from a website TL, its from a local electronics supplier a couple of miles from my house, they do just about every conceivable thing to do with electronics, i just happened to pop in one day and there they were, and they are "proper" cathode kits too.
Not much use unless you live nearby but the address is http://www.jpgelectronics.co.uk/ (http://www.jpgelectronics.co.uk/)

JB, didn't mean to cast any aspersions, it's just that there are a lot of places out there that are selling something that is not quite the real deal.  Â£14 squid is a heck of a deal for a cold cathode kit........every other supplier I know is knocking them out at the prices I outlined above.  I'll just have to move closer to local electronics shop I guess

All i wil say is persist - persist - persist the razer does take a lot of getting used to it took me a good month and then some to master it but once you have you will never go back to GAMING with anything else.
Nice little present that £100 worth of mouse for nothing you are a nice fella.

I gave one to JonnyAppleSeed and JB to see if they liked it and gave me it back coz they couldnt get on with it.
