If you run the launcher and get a "Source File Corrupted" error when it is trying to download the patch (and Repair does not work) then the solution is this:
QuoteNavigate to the StarCitizen install folder and in the top right search bar of the window type *.version. Then select every .version file that is shown and delete. This will put the launcher into a default state and hopefully patch successfully after that.
Having deleted the three *.version files, upon restart my launcher immediately kicked into downloading & installing the patches correctly. :thumbsup:

In better news I'm, seeing decent speed from the download, just over about 10MB/s, so the download should be done in about 16 minutes :)
Yeah I done this last night - still had source corrupt so did a full re install and has fixed it.
But like yourself seeing excellent d/l speeds - mine was peaking around 5mb/s which is awesome for where I am
