With 9.2 we got Strongholds.   All in all this could be a serious improvement in WoT which previously has really lacked much opporrtunity for us to play casually in groups of anything bigger than three people.   Pretty awesome stuff.



We have 56 members, so we can construct on two zones (30+ opens the second zone).

We can choose different types of structure to build in our zones:

Types of Structure
Financial Unit - Increases credits earned by all clan members after any battle.
Military School - Increases Free Experience earned by all clan members after any battle.
Tankodrome - Increases Combat Experience earned by all clan members after any battle.
Training Unit - Increases crew experience earned by all clan members after any battle.
Transportation Unit - Increases plunder earned by all clan members in Skirmishes.
Trophy Brigade - Increases plunder captured after a successful attack on Stronghold of another clan.
Quartermaster Unit - Increases Industrial Resource kept after an unsuccessful defense of your Stronghold.

Which one of these structure types interests us the most?     When we know what we prefer I can establish the foundations for the structure.

In order to build structures on the foundations we then need to earn 'Industrial Resource' which is a unique in-game currency which you earn when you take part in Clan skirmishes for Strongholds.   The Industrial Resource we earn then allows us to build the structures on existing foundations, increase the level of the structure (ie increasing the benefits given to all members of the Clan) and prepare Reserves (see below).

Types of Reserve:
Battle Payments   - Increases credits earned by all clan members after any battle. - requires Financial Unit
Military Maneuvers - Increases Free Experience earned by all clan members after any battle. - requires Military School
Tactical Training   - Increases Combat Experience earned by all clan members after any battle. - requires Tankodrome
Additional Briefing - Increases crew experience earned by all clan members after any battle. - requires Training Unit
High-Capacity Transport - Increases plunder earned by all clan members in Skirmishes. - requires Transportation Unit

One-time effect Reserves (Cannot be used in the current update)
Requisition    - Increases plunder captured after a successful attack on Stronghold of another clan.   Trophy Brigade
Evacuation    - Increases Industrial Resource kept after an unsuccessful defense of your Stronghold.   Quartermaster Unit

Skirmishes
A skirmish is  a battle between detachments of two clans. We can form our own detachment or join an existing detachment.  The detachment can then take part in three divisions of skirmish:

Detachment divisions:
Medium: Vehicle Tiers Iâ€"VI, 7Ñ...7 battles, a minimum of 6 players per detachment
Champion: Vehicle Tiers I-VIII, 10Ñ...10 battles, a minimum of 8 players per detachment
Absolute: Vehicle Tiers I-X, 15Ñ...15 battles, a minimum of 12 players per detachment

I've opened a zone and selected a site onto which a foundation has been built, but we need to add Resource in order to build.

I was thinking these sounded decent:

Military School - Increases Free Experience earned by all clan members after any battle.
Tankodrome - Increases Combat Experience earned by all clan members after any battle.
Training Unit - Increases crew experience earned by all clan members after any battle.
Transportation Unit - Increases plunder earned by all clan members in Skirmishes.

not sure what the difference is between 2nd & 3rd though!

We need to decide what we want to build - and then I'd suggest we plan a night when we'll get a minimum of 6 of us on at the same time (with appropriate tiers of tanks) so that we can try these skirmishes, see how they work out and earn some resources!

How about tomorrow night at 8.00pm (UK time)?

why Training Unit? why not change that to a Financial Unit.
and Training Unit vs Tankodrome - tankdrome give more xp for the tonk, and the other for the crew. better crew better hitchance and so on. the other is for upgrading tonks.
