Title: WoW on MAC
Post by: Arcticfire on August 08, 2014, 03:49:21 PM
Oke so ive been needing a new laptop and I havent had any good experience with a Windows laptop I am thinking about a Macbook Pro Retina 15' (newest version).

Therefor my question is if anyone has experience with playing WoW on a mac(book) and how it goes. I know Macbooks arent known for their gaming qualities, but its not in my interest to buy new games except the WoW expansion.

Hopefully you can help me out :)

The hardware components inside macs are identical to other laptops (Intel/IBM Compatible).  (It used to be different, not anymore).

The only difference left is the case, trackpad, OS, and the insane price tag.  If you simply want to get rid of Winrot, just install an apple OS on a normal laptop.

Ive been looking for the same kind of specs on a Windows laptop:

15'

But they usually are about the same price and either heavier or make more noise.
But it is what I have been looking for, not trying to go for Apple, but atleast something with those specs.

Tried looking down the AMD route? Half the price for the same CPU performance.
