What ships have we currently got in our ED Fleet: I have just a sidewinder at the moment
Sidewinder only I'm afraid. Every time I look like earning any credits, some &%$%£" nicks 'em (or I crash).
N'ere mind, to quote Stevie G "We go again"
One Anaconda here.
I started with a Sidewinder, got a Hauler, then a Lakon-6, tried a Cobra Mk III then a Lakon Type 9 for while which helped me wrack up the millions for my Anaconda. Briefly tried a Viper, but fast as it was, it had no cargo hold and zero hyperspace range.

After many revisits to Aulin, finally picked up my Plasma Accellerator!
I just swap around depending on mood but I've never seen that C8 Plasma beast! It would really help if once you buy a weapon you can choose whether to store it or sell it with the ship. I'm tired of having to hunt for weapons every time I sell and re buy. Got about 20mill cr so having my well loaded Anaconda destroyed in battle a few days ago dented it slightly at 400K insurance for ship and all parts.
I've got an Anaconda and tried doing some dogfighting in it. It kills stuff easy enough but it's not an enjoyable experience.
I'm gonna drop back to a tricked-out Cobra and try that. If that doesn't work for me I'll drop to the Sidey.
I was watching a stream last night of a guy in a viper mk 3 he only had cannons and was 2/3 shotting most stuff
I'm in a tin pot hauler thingy, but then I've only spent an afternoon playing it. Still seeing hangs/crashes in online open play, solo works fine.
In conclusion then:-
Quote1. SneakyTiger - Sidewinder
2. Lameduck - Sidewinder
3. Arithon - Anaconda
4. Albert - Anaconda
5. OldBloke - Cobra Mk III
6. Arcon - Sidewinder
7. TeaLeaf - Hauler
Missed anyone?
im on a type 6 atm, soon to be a type 9
I'm on a hauler now for the third time, but this time soft ar** has bought insurance:rolleyes:
I (Vozard) switch between the Cobra, the Type 6 and Type 9 depending on what I do.

Totally miffed. Going great guns in the hauler this morning and had reached Cr35k and was delivering a highly profitable load of Combat
Stabilisers to Aulin, when on the last jump, Commander informed crew that he needed to operate the for'ard bladder relief valve, pressed Escape
to pause game. Came back a minute later to be informed that my ship was destroyed and did I want to replace ship on insurance?
Booger. Back(almost) to square one. Anyone else have this happen?
(Not the bladder relief valve part)

I did something similar, I lost my Sidewinder once while having dinner.
This was early on so I can't recall clearly, but I don't remember losing anything, not even money.

I don't actually think that stops the game, it just covers over your game screen with a menu. I noticed this when I flew right by a target whilst 'escape paused' and was fortunate that my aim was not so bad as to crash into it!
Were you playing in solo mode? I had always assumed in any other mode that (like any other multiplayer game) if you're connected to the server your game isn't paused. I hadn't actually tried it in solo mode, but I was *assuming* it actually *did* pause you, as you were the only person playing.
I was in solo mode (I get horrible lag and crashes in open mode at the moment).

Spot on TL, it does not stop the game, what kidded me was the 'RESUME' box.
Never mind, thanks to Mr Slopeys' providential profit calculator I'll soon recoup my ill-gotten gains
Back to the grind
