So I know i've not been back to dMw Forums in *aaaages*, but i'm always idling on the IRC channel with the likes of Pnuts, Obsolum, Dannage, Blunt etc. I thought i'd drop in and see if anyone was Eliting, and here was a new subforum!
I;ve seen the 'Fleet' thread, but that only says what ships people have. I don't know about the rest of you, but i'm testing things and losing my ships quite frequently, so whatever I put in there isn't likely to stay the same for more than a few days. What I really want to know is, what are your Commander names in game? And do we have an Elite: Dangerous dMw group we can join (I know at the moment groups can't be renamed, so it will just have the name of whoever created it)? I can't find a Who's Who thread in here yet, so created this one.
I'm (predictably) Cmdr Carr0t. If you're searching via the in game interface you just put the name, not the 'Cmdr' as well. And for reference, I was able to request my commander name back when I had only paid for release access, not access to standard beta as well. So for those of you who've done the same and not been tempted by beta access yet, don't forget to log in to the website and request your desired commander name before someone else snaps it up when the game actually comes out!

Is it actually necessary to add individual friends? I am not sure what that gets you over just being in the central group that has everyone in it :) If there are bonuses, sure, i'll add folk. If not, makes sense to just use the group :)
I'm in the Group as Jamoe, I think I've added everyone as a friend to date.
I've kept it in Solo while I get use to it. Will try and get on team speak next time I play.

Can find Merovingi in a search but if you just add Albert I'll accept and then request to join the same name as a private group.
I've missed this thread somehow, Lameduck. never knowingly refused a friendship request.
I've done all my 'practice' in the grand group of 'chasps' known as 'Albert' and very helpful they are too.:)
Couldn't find Galatoni or Merovingi, but other than that i've sent everyone requests. I initially thought if we were all in the same group i'd automatically have you all as friends in game, but that appears to not be the case.

Just joined the forum off the back of following some internet links for E:D that bought me to the dMw sub forum.
In game name is Tatonker, and I'm currently plying my trade as a bounty hunter down near Pikum / Aasgananum although am happy to relocate to where the group is. Been playing since Beta 2 and am pretty hooked.
I've been working on building up rep with the Federation factions down that way, currently an Ensign in the Federation and allied with 3 or 4 Federation sub factions (but still neutral with all major factions).
Would love to catch up with you guys in game. I'll send some friend requests out ok and also try to get into the group.
