Well as title guys, just been tweaking all my controls ready for Beta 2, I've never been able to get Track IR working with the side control panels, but i thought it was because i'm an idiot :blink:
As it turns out a google search proves at the very least i'm not alone in my idiocy....... the problem i have is when i look left or right to highlight one of the UI Panels i can't seem to interact with them.... on my laptop with no TIR I press 1 for navigation panel, then use W,S,A,D,Q,E & Space to navigate around and select stuff on the panel, on my main gaming PC i look at the panel with TIR but can't interact with it ? I've tried everything i can think of within the control options, I've googled & searched the E: D forums, but can't see what i'm missing, anyone any ideas ?
No Andy, I cant help. I hate this feature in IR as I have to hold my head at a ridiculous angle to access the side control panels whilst pressing the navigational keys.
My work-around is to use IR when I'm on a 'battle' mission and need to follow the 'enemy' and do without on trading trips.

But your "normal" navigation keys to interact with the panels work when you look at them to activate with Track IR ? this is my main problem, just ZERO interaction with panel whilst using TIR.

Not sure why but my panels work great with TrackIR. I move my head left or right then down a tad and they popup on their own.

Yes the panels activate but are extremely difficult to navigate with the 'q' key etc and the bloody panels disappear at the vital moment and you are unsure of your selection,
so have to repeat sequence, so I turn IR off .

One workaround could be to pause Trackir (default f9) and call up the panels normally, then unpause trackir again to resume normal operation.

I navigate the panels using the joystick top-hat and fire button.
Also, that profile I linked to pauses at the correct place.

I'd love to try the profile, but my headphones are over at Sennheiser getting fixed, so I can't!
