Title: Danger Money!

As some may know I am fortunate as a photographer to be able to count our own Penfold amongst my list of esteemed clients. However I fear my latest assignment for him goes above and beyond what could possibly be considered as reasonable.

 I took this one on Monday and my hands are still shaking! No fence, no barrier, nothing between me and 180kg of silverback except a bit of Nikon glass :blink:

Actually it's not a fake at all. It's very, very real.


It's also just very, very dead :)

I believe that's 'Guy the Gorilla'. Saw him in the flesh at London Zoo back in the day.

Yep it is Guy.... or what's left of him. I'm mostly impressed with the expression the taxidermist achieved. Even though poor Guy is long departed there's real expression and intelligence in the eye's and face.
