As discussed at the LAN ...
To try and accommodate people who want to play ArmA3 but can't make the regular Sunday slot we are going to try and run an ad-hoc game on Wednesdays. This will not be 'official' insomuch as there won't be a designated leader or indeed an admin but just a group of people willing to die a lot :D
I'll try and source some maps suitable for low player counts should they be necessary but if numbers are good we'll stick with the tried-and-tested ones.

Was fun messing around with "endless" waves from all directions. Messing about with the high caliber sniper rifles was fun as well, especially when after every kill someone commented on the splatter effects and nice kill shots. Sadly I missed those effects using thermal scope. I guess it is somewhat overkill using high caliber armor piercing rounds on attacking infantry :p

We only just got through it in one piece so I think it was good to have. Often thermal scopes can make a game trivially easy to win, but not last night.

Yeah, it was fun.
In terms of a mission design how about a variation on the Wave Attack style where we get, say, 30 minutes to build defences before the 1st wave hits.
I'd like a seal-type mission where you go in by boat then swimming, quiet approach and do a snatch and grab :)
It may never happen but I'm stumbling along trying to build a simple version of this. Might be ready for Arma 4 :D
Got my mission sorted. Whether it will work on the server with the tasks I don't know. Blob helped me test it over LAN and it all worked. :)
Get it sent over mate and we will have uploaded to the server so you can test it on Wed. Seems like you will be testing lots on Wed.
