Nice... these kinda things always make me wonder why CIG doesn't put their own new trailer together, they've made so much good footage already, it should be stuck front and center on their webpage !
They did but it's getting a bit old now and the graphics certainly aren't representative of where the game is now. Time for an upgrade I think.

Apart from it being existing footage they could almost use the original as is. Of course I would prefer new footage ☺ Cloud Imperium should think of his/her video as a wake up call and get busy.
The initial kickstarter video is still the best IMO. Mainly because I'm still trying to pick my jaw up from the ground when I first say it over two years ago.

And CIG have heard and delivered :D
Their new official SC trailer is indeed based on the one in the OP.
But 80% is reused commercial video with the Mustang ships added in for newness. It's a nice production but now as good as the individual videos especially the Constellation vid in my opinion.
