This game is closing fast on it's release date! :woot2:
This is one of the games I immediately pre-ordered, as it is my favorite game series next to Mass Effect. I was somewhat disappointed with the second game, but the first one I've lost count of my number of play-throughs. Supposedly Inquisition has been given a lot more love and polish than the DA2.
So who else has picked it up?
Quite a lot of things sitting in my 'must play' queue at the moment. So I'll probably add this to the end and hopefully pick it up later with a discount.
The first game was genius and had the best 'non Scottish, non beer swilling, non Lord of the Rings clone' Dwarves ever. They were a joy to play. The second game.... meh, not so good. I have high hopes for this one.

So who else HATES the controls for this game? Just navigating in tactical mode is terrible! Never have I been so excited about a game and liked the story so much, but not played it. I just get so frustrated with the controls that I rage quit :crying:
I remember the original being a bit 'console' but nothing too terrible. I might give it a miss if it's that bad.

I can imagine it works quite well with a console controller, but my main issue is the way you move the camera around in tactical mode, and that you can't zoom out very far. Also trees block your vision, and the movement of the camera has the same limitations as a player character. IE. if you can't move a character to somewhere, the tactical camera can't get there either...
It really is a shame, because the game looks fantastic, and the story so far is amazing. It just ruins it for me when I get the urge to smash my computer to bits because the camera view and tactical commands don't make any sense.
