Backed this project, seems like a really good idea.

As a backer of project and now user of the Swiftpoint GT mouse I can vouch for its effectiveness.   It has totally replaced any mice I had that would normally have carried around with my laptops, it doesn't need any drivers and it just seems to work, even with Windows 'gestures'.     Swiftpoint is about to move into retail stores (see the new packaging demanded by the retailers below) and in order to get rid of all of the old packaged stock have just opened up a an 'affiliate sales drive'.   The aim is for current users to evangelise and get others to buy the mouse to get rid of all of the stock that is in older packaging as the retailers only want stock in the new packaging.

As a reward for backing the project they have given backers a special code which:

As old packaged stocks are limited this 'scheme' won't be around for long I am guessing, so if you were thinking of buying one then now is the time.

Anyway, if you were thinking of purchasing a Swiftpoint GT mouse, then now is a good time to buy one with a $15 discount.   All you need is a special code from a backer.  Backers I am aware of are Albert and me.   If you want the discount I'd suggest you send a PM to Albert or me and we'll send you the code to use at checkout.  If you purchase a GT with that code then you get the $15 discount and we get a $15 commission for referring you to them for the purchase.

Any money I get from such sales will be donated to the dMw Community fund.

QuoteSo a quick update on our progress since launching the GT

Since attending the CES2015 in Las Vegas, we were all very busy at ironing out some of the wee wrinkles and polishing some rough edges, as well as following some fantastic leads garnered during the geek bonanza in Las Vegas.

We were very pleased with our achievements since, which include B&H store in New York City being the first retail store in USA that has stocked us since our CES launch, as well as signing several supply agreements in USA and Europe, the most notable and imminent being our launch in Brookstone stores in US airports! We have also dispatched our first shipment to one of Germany’s largest electronics distributors, so look out for us there, too.

The aim of our new external retail packaging is to satisfy the premium look demanded by Brookstone and the likes, as well as all of our premium customers like yourselves. We are very excited to share it with you in this email. We are just finalising all the translations to make our packaging ready for the European Union countries (6 different languages), as well as instructions in languages to satisfy our Middle Eastern and Asian customers, as we are on the cusp of delivering our products to Korea, Japan and the Middle East (we are in the final steps of obtaining local regulatory certifications).

This mini campaign is a huge help we are getting from you, but it is also a way from all of us at Swiftpoint to say “thank you”, as we wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without you.

Thank you for being on the journey with us.

Kind Regards,

Grant Odgers
CEO

All good, PM me if you want a key. Only warning is they ship from the US so you have a chance of getting stung for import tax, I did and it added 20% to the cost which made it an expensive mouse.

I didn't, so was lucky and happy!

One of my most admired 'devices' over the past 4+ years was this Swiftpoint GT (boardroom envy was always very high).

Now they have a new mouse in production, so  I thought I would link the new project for the Swiftpoint Tracpoint.

I've backed the Tracpoint too and am looking forward to it arriving later in the year!  Previous backers get a nice discount too!

If you do any presenting then this mouse will be a lovely upgrade!

Thanks for the heads up. I saw the email and for sure that spot feature looks awesome.

My GT still works perfectly (I know yours got nicked) so I will pass.

I thought mine was lost, but it turned up about a month later at the bottom of a bag I rarely use, so it was found again and has been in steady use!  I fancied the upgrade though and would use the presentation features regularly either for work presentations or at lectures.

Gotta say, the price is great for previous backers. I will do it because I trust their brand. They also replaced a 1.9 year old X gaming model because it had a scroll wheel issue. It was a long process but ended up with a replacement. Great company.

Also the original GT was $100 and is still going strong.

Swiftpoint have released a new gaming mouse, more affordable than the Swiftpoint Z with 12,000DPI.

I’m a fan, I have 3 of their products already, as I believe does TeaLeaf . If you read back in the post they replaced my original Z mouse and today I still use that product.

Feel free to peruse and if you are interested and have questions I can probably answer them. Yes I pledged again [emoji3061][emoji16]

I never bought the gaming mouse, so I don't know what that is like, but I have used extensively the original Swiftpoint GT as my go to travel mouse for business - it still amazes clients to see such a small but fully functional mouse.  Over the past 18 months or so (ignoring lockdown) I had also started using the Tracpoint during lecturing.   Both products have been excellent.
