Heh, this is good news. But they really should have handled this PR better.
I logged on this morning, did 2 hours mining with a nice haul for about 200k. Logged off at a 'roid.
One pub lunch later I logged in and boosted into the roid which just loaded on my screen - boom goes the ship.
Still, just a loss of time as the cargo is effectively "free" but worked for.
Lesson learned. Wait for the environment to load before pressing buttons.
Hope the insurance was affordable. I'm trying to play on a tablet with a 11.4" screen and the frame rate is horrible but the worst is getting the hang of keyboard and mouse, Let's hope its all worth while!

The big ships are a git to avoid when they go on their kamikaze runs. I had to keep taking evasive maneuvers against a Federal Drop Ship as all he wanted to do was ram. I was taken out once by another Cobra, he was no shields and 40% hull I was 100% shields, full power to SYS and I still was dead on impact.
