2: forza motorsport

Uncharted, Bayonetta, and perhaps God of War, fables.
Obviously The Last of Us. One of the best games ever on any platyform
Gears of war

Damn, that looks good!
Many on the list that sneaky has mentioned are on the PC.
Fable got released last year on the PC with a HD remake.
A couple in thew Halo series were released on PC... I think Halo 1 or 2 is Vista only however.
Gears of war is on the PC..
Destiny is also supposed to be coming to the PC when all of the content is out of PS4 and XBOX.
I would love to play the last of us on a PC... Very good game indeed. However there are a few very good games that over the years never made it to PC.
For the xbox:
RED DEAD redemption
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
Bayonetta
Nier
Enslaved
Vanquish
Shadows of the Damned
Resonance of Fate
Eternal Sonata
For the PS3
Infamous
Killzone
Demon's Souls
Heavy Rain
God of war
LittleBigPlanet
Ratchet and clank
Resistance
Uncharted
Stuff like JRPG's rarely make it to PC... Monsterhunter would be great on a PC.
I miss the Nintendo stuff more than xbox or playstation specific games.

Fable 2 is missing from the PC.
And the remake is rubbish. The original + additional content is said to be better.
+1 to The Last of Us, one of the best games around at the moment. So good even my girlfriend (who is not a gamer) loved playing it for the story and the world.
The Uncharted games, made by the same team as Last of Us, are also good fun, but lack the story, maturity, and complexity of the Last of Us.
Heavy Rain is a wonderful game (if you want to call it a game) that more people should try to play. Either way it is a wonderful experience. Think Telltale's The Walking Dead meets psychological murder mystery.
No one has mentioned Journey or Flower yet, two games on PS3/4 by thatgamecompany, both known for being simple, beautiful, wonderful little bundles of joy.
Although I was loyal to xbox for many years, giving a large chunk of my youth to competitive Halo, the PS3 has by far the better exclusives IMO. Many I didn't mention, and although DZ named a few more there are plenty worth playing neither of us covered. I would quite easily recommend a PS3 to anyone if you can grab one on the cheap now the PS4 is out and about, you can get a fantastic library of games for a decent price. And to be honest, the Last of Us is probably worth the cost of the console alone.
I don't think I will pick up an XBOX one or PS4 as I have a PC for an immersive core gaming experience that can handle higher than 810p rez at 60FPS. I own an XBOX 360 and PS3 and I have turned them on in over a year. Only current gen console I have is a WII-U which has has it own issues and has had a lot of bad press from core gamers as there are not many core games for it and its down on power.
Brilliant innovative games such as the wonderful 101 exist only for the WII-U which are designed for the system from the ground up to use all of its capabilities and are fantastic fun (would go as far as saying classic gems)! Family favorites like mario cart, smash bros, zelda games and party games like WII party/mario party make this the best fit of an in living room as a friends and family casual experience to compliment my PC for serious gaming.
I bought bayonetta 2 for it but no time to put it in the drive yet, but if its as good as number one then I am in for a treat. Smash brothers I have only played for 20 mins too but is Uber fun... I need to get 8 people in the house to play 8 player single screen smash!!!! OMG!!! Thats going to to be manic!
I highly recommend a WII-U to any of you who want a casual and interactive experience or have kids (or big kids like me). Everyone can play a game of smash or mario cart not just gamers, from kids to OAP's. Great fun!

Xbox One or PS4, I will probably pick one of them up (maybe both) eventually, depending on exclusives and price! I agree, any game I can get on my PC I want to get on my PC, and not a console, but there will undoubtedly be some phenomenal games you can only find on Sony or Microsoft's machines...
When I feel the consoles hit a good price : exclusives I want to play ratio, I will look into picking one of them up, but not before then (and honestly, I am probably talking years here, not months!). I would bet it would be a PS4, as the tail end of the last generation (PS3) really swayed me to that side of the fence, the exclusives were just plain better than those on the X360.
As for the WiiU... although I am aware some of its games are getting incredibly positive reviews (Smash, Bayonetta)... I just can't drum up a modicum of interest in that console. I never really have been a fan of Nintendo or its core properties (Mario, Zelda). Probably I am missing out but unless I see something that blows me away I will likely continue to miss out on them.
Hey DZ. do you know if the Wii games are backward compatible to the Wii-u?
I'm not DZ but...
seems so (https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Wii-U/Hardware-Features/Backwards-compatibility/Backwards-compatibility-736682.html) Ninja...
Yeah they are in fact you can use the Wii-U gamepad as a separate TV screen for Wii games as it has the sensor bar built in. So you can banish your kids to another room to play Wii games or Wii-U games so you have the TV spare. =)
