Post by: OldBloke on December 23, 2014, 05:09:07 PM
Just had these delivered to my laptop. Release notes mention ED.

ED now in list of games on the GeForce Experience app.

Not tested as yet.

Saw a note to avoid these if using Oculus - so until they are out of BETA, I shall stick with the old drivers.

347.09 is out of BETA. Did a clean install and tried it tonight and all seems well.

Still a problem with the Oculus Rift though, so I have to steer clear!

Quote from: el_tel on Frontier forumsThat driver has now moved from Beta to being a main download, but still  causes issues with the Rift. I know because I just installed it, and my  Rift doesn't work correctly with Elite: Dangerous any more.
I'm going away for a few weeks soon anyway, so won't be able to play Elite: Dangerous for a while. Hopefully it will be fixed when I return.

So I'd recommend Rift users avoid that driver, even though non-Beta  users will be prompted to install it ('Best experience with Elite: Dangerous' was my temptation).

Quote from: Zulubear on Frontier forumsSame here. I just installed it to see if there was any difference to the  beta release. Same issues as before (separate full images per eye), so  I've rolled back. The graphic settings were showing the refresh rate as  120Hz for the Rift display. Odd.

Posts on reddit are saying the refresh rate is locked to 120Hz instead of the "normal" Oculus refresh rate of 75Hz which is causing a double image!
