Today's lunchtime entertainment:
Received a call from an overseas number trying to sell me an IVA (even though he knows nothing about me).
I even told him 6 minutes into the call that I was a finance professional - he did not get the hint.
I corrected his explanation of debt interest payment - he did not get the hint.
I explained that his dates were wrong (it was a 1986 Act not a 1988 Act that brought in IVAs) - he did not get the hint.
I corrected his explanation of creditor voting rights - he did not get the hint.
I then asked to know more and like a good little nupty he did not get the hint.
One pack of spicy couscous with a rasher of bacon - £0.69.
The time used by a telesales nupty calling me from the indian sub-continent - 23 minutes 22 secs.
Using speakerphone to occasionally mumble encouragement whilst listening to him dig himself into hole & waste his time whilst I got to to eat my lunch uninterrupted - Priceless.
