Hello everybody, I played on the servers quite a bit in the past, but about six months ago cs and me parted company for a bit when I began playing dod. Still playing dod but have recently started playing cs again and thought I would come and see if dMw were still going.
Well I’ve sent me Steam ID and am just awaiting the password, and then I should be seeing you around on the servers (I hope).
Btw re-read all the rules and couldn’t any mention of them, but do you still have map dependent boundaries for the teams or is it just taken for granted if you’re working as a team you know where you should be and don’t need them?
Welcome back m8. Good to see you again.
You are spot on when you say that there is no mention of boundaries. We have not exactly eliminated them but we have rubbed them out ;) We are, as you mentioned, aiming for teamplay and using the objective of the map to define its own boundaries e.g., if you are meant to be defending the hossies then, as T, you should not leg it off to CT spawn to go frag hunting.
It is easier for people to play as they do not have to worry about the "invisible lines" however teamplay is everything and we aim for flexibility. You can now go around behind CTs (or Ts) but you should do this to achieve the objective and after forming a plan with your team :)
Good to see you back. have fun :)
welcome back ;)
Thanks for the welcome guys.
Well I got the password, joined the server, and had an excellent game. It feels good to be playing the game as it's meant to be played :D I think you'll be seeing a bit more of me in the future.
