Arcon, Oldbloke and I are heading off to meet up with Obsydian (organiser) for this meet.
If anyone is in the area (Gandalf, you know it makes sense!) then why not post that you are joining us and have an afternoon of beer & gaming talk.:dmw::3cheers:
Gutted that I live so far away!
Possible, though we're expecting a moving date in the next week so could be busy packing!
Will probably come to this as well, work allowing.
Thanks for the heads up TL!
The more the merrier!
Im looking forward to meeting you guys. :)
Definately coming to this now, see you at 3pm. Anyone near Watford who needs a lift, let me know.

Hmm, might put a call in to see if we can hook up. I was flying solo on the train, but train + car ride with company on the car leg sounds so much more fun!
Thanks guys for making the trek to deepest darkest Sussex!
it was great meeting you all, and I look forward to getting online and getting some flying in with you guys (gotta try out the multiplayer action in the Super Hornet, Gladiator and Cutlass soon!).
it was a good turn out made all the better with your excellent company. And here's the obligatory photo:

Autorotate off! That's a motley crew if ever I've seen one.

I didn't realise you meant Crawley Australia. No wonder I couldn't find you guys.
lol - i don't know what happened to the photo. It's the right way up on my iPad, and when I upload it, it shows me a thumbnail the right way up too, but when I hit the post button, it appears upside down.
ive tried it several times but it always imports upside down. It's got to be a forum software issue. Anyone know how I can get it the right way up?
Is the problem Apple?

If not, then I can only suggest flipping the picture to the right way up on your PC and then uploading that fresh copy. Not come across the problem before, so it might not be the forum software!
Good times at the meetup yesterday though, it was nice to meet you and the time went by very quickly as we all talked!
Not sure why it inverted but I've uploaded a rotated version which appears to have worked.
Great to meet up yesterday and thanks for organising it. Impressed by how much crap we can talk in over 3 hours :D
It's upside down on the RSI forum too, so I suspect it is an Apple problem.

Now that is bizarre, because when I view the post on the RSI forums on my iPad, the photo is the right way up...
And the RSI forums don't allow uploaded photos, so the image is actually linked from the meetup.com group. Does the photo appear upside down on the meetup event? It looks the right way up in my iPad too.

Yes, it does look like an Apple problem, but it seems to be exacerbated by Windows and other software not taking the exif attributes into account.
unfortunately, the solution mentioned in that article isn't correct (orient the phone with the buttons on the bottom) because that's the exact orientation I used when taking those photos!
I guess I'll have to use a PC to upload photos in future if the hosting software doesn't support the exif tags or, worse, removes them (which I think is what this forum software does). The meetup site keeps the tags (which is why they look correct when viewed on my iPad but net when viewed in a Windows browser).
Technology, eh?...

Nope. Looks normal :g:
I'm a slow smoker that's why I didn't make it on the picture. Dammit.
Yeah, sorry about that Armin. I didn't realise until after that you weren't oresent and then Raydon and his friends had to leave quickly.
