Hi all,
Just a quick post that now after the easter break and the new update to LFS races will resume this Thursday as normal using the combo that has been set for a few weeks. After this event we will look at Westhill combo's that have been uploaded to run a few events.
Hopefully we can get a few more drivers this week.
Dan
Hi all, are people still racing on the dMr server? In the past couple of weeks I've been on a number of times in the evenings but always driving around solo. Have people moved on from LFS to something else or what? The dMr server was always pretty much my one-stop server to get some racing in whenever I had the chance to blow the dust off my wheel and doing a few laps, but lately it's been very very quiet on the server :(
Hi Obsolum,
Afraid it's been very quiet recently. Trying to get a crowd together to race but not many seem interested in the current format. Hopefully we can change that and get a good grid back together.

Hi Obsolum, Danny,
personally, I have moved to Assetto Corsa. I like it a lot, the physics feel really great and there is a large amount of cars and tracks to explore (both built-in and mods). I did a few LFS laps after the new Westhill came out, but LFS doesn't catch me like it used to do in the past. Also the progress of LFS development doesn't look very promising to me (it needed almost one year to complete a single track...). If anyone is interested, the busy days in AC are usually Mondays and Wednesdays.
But there are also some downsides of AC, the game definitely needs more love from the devs in multiple areas. We also tried to run weekly DMR events for AC (long races), but this didn't work out either due to lack of racers :-(
Greetings!
Neys
I feel the same way as Neys. Assetto has me hooked now, the more I play it the more stale LFS feels when I go back to it. Even with things like Force feedback and physics/handling, I am feeling AC is more advanced these days. As Neys says, it does have problems. But in it's current state it is very playable and I am confident they will improve it further.
