Title: 6.2 Patch notes
Post by: Michelanio on April 20, 2015, 03:05:22 PM
The patch notes for the next big patch is now out and they can be found here (http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/blog/18539917/62-ptr-patch-notes-april-15-18-04-2015) and there is a few major changes to the world in this patch, first and foremost is the fact that we finally can go in to Tanaan Djungle! I think it was just stupid to lock out a entire zone from the players and not until now release it to the public..

Another major change is that we got a bit more space in our garrison now with the addition of our very own harbour, it will be placed roughly in the area where we first enter Shadowmoon Valley and to be able to get it you have to have a level 3 garrison and you get to do a few quests before you unlock it and once you got it you will be able to do something called naval missions but from the screenshots I've seen it does look like it got a similar look to it as the current garrison missions but we will see how it turns out, bit of a spoiler but if you want to see how the alliance one will turn out click this  (https://youtu.be/TMP_ZSJdDaM)link and it will take you to youtube with a short video of how it looks.

We will also this time around get a mythic dungeon difficulty that apparently will be much harder then it is on heroic and it will have a weekly lockout with the bosses dropping 680 loot and the final boss got a chance of dropping loot with the ilvl 700.

We also got the time walker feature but since we also got that in a separate thread I recommend you look in that for more info but apart from that there isn't that many major changes we got the usual stuff, new raid (Hellfire Citadell) that got 13 new bosses in it and the usual buffs and nerfs to different classes and for once I really hope that the changes they made so far ain't the final ones cause in my opinion they have nerfed and buffed the wrong classes and specs big time this time around so I hope they change that for the better before they release it. And no I'm not just talking about the nerfs to paladins they nerfed a few other classes and specs as well that don't really need it.

They're buffing Frost DK's and not Blood, can't believe it!

And they are actually nerfing Unholy... what. the. actual. fudge... Unholy is completely useless in arena at the moment. I was looking forward to this being usable again, but I guess I will have to go Frost now. 1 button play is best play

The whole patch looks to be PvE related though, apart from the mage arena nerf.

Glad they are buffing locks, as playing that mainly now, but they were very lacking.

Agree with you on locking the zone out, they could of had it open to explore at least. Maybe with high lvl elites that we couldnt kill so it was enter at your own risk....Or jas's gold fund :P

Ooo more to do in the garrison.... They should of called this expac, World of Warcraft, Garrison County.

All i can say is im glad the weather has changed, no excuse to stay in on the computer now :P
