Version 9.8 is here and with it comes the SD/HD split in the game package.

Start the client, select Standard Def (for those who do not play on higher graphical settings) or High Def. Then sit back and wait whilst the launcher converts the files to your preferred choice (you can switch again later via the launcher) and then wait for the apallingly slow torrent of 9.8 to be delivered to your PC. (this morning I was getting less than 0.5MB/sec on a 900MB patch)

So, start your client early, select HD (or SD) and then go get some coffee! Full details here:

Note: HD option requires a 64-bit system

....and the update has made my UI super-sized, I have about 50% of the screen left to actually see tanks :angry:

XVM not yet updated.

What other mods are you using Rizzy? I had some triple layer tank carousel one as well (name forgotten already).

I use XVM too, should be a nightly build if need be (if you dare to negotiate the russian part of the forums)

also Jimbos contour icons - http://www.curse.com/wot-mods/worldoftanks/jimbos-contour-icon-mod - just makes the different tank types stand out on the, er, tank thingy (check the link to work out what I mean)

I tend to use QuickyBabys modpack which is basically xvm + zoom mod with a bit of a custom xvm config, further messed with by me just to change a few more things.

I needed to change screen res size to something else, apply, then change it back to my 2560x1600 normal res and that fixed it. It was somehow not recognising the higher resolution, but it's all fixed now.

Installed the QB mod, ty. Defintley going to replace the Sixth Sense graphic though, omg it sucks! Give me back the light bulb!

Yea I change the Sixth Sense icon out for one of my own -

I also change the config a bit so the map shows up enlarged & centred on screen to make it a bit easier to see where tanks are & for clicking on & stuff.

Check your active missions when you next log in people, a few of mine have changed around & one I had to restart - looks like they've got rid of the platoon only missions, which is good.

from what I can see it's still not quite right, they've changed some settings within xvm & it's taking a bit of time for some mod packs to catch up, i'll keep an eye out for when it's fixed.

Hey TL, is there a copy of the dMw clan logo kicking about anywhere? the one that appears in game on your tanks? I fancy giving it a go as my 6th sense icon.
