We need to get this sorted out relatively fast (which is why I put this in a new thread - in order to draw attention to it), when exactly are we going to play on Meathook now it's a true competitive server? The only suggestion of a date so far has been Wednesday so if everyone could quickly post what sort of date/time we should play the "competitive match" that would help in making the decision. :g:
I'm going to suggest 7pm on a Wednesday but if there is another day/time that suits other people better then we should go with that.
Quick Edit: We need to check what other games are on a Wednesday etc. before we make any decisions so if Blunt could check then he can let us know when we could play.
7 pm wednesday is good for me too
I'll try and get involved as much as possible too. Wed sounds good to me.
Wednesday is good
Wednesday ok for me but i think 8pm would be a better time?
I'll be there:) turning all my hex on
Meathook is now running CS:GO Pug setup (https://github.com/splewis/csgo-pug-setup#commands) which means any of you can organise the sides, start a game, pick map etc.
Quote[h=2]Commands[/h]Some commands that are important are (all of these are actually sm_ commands for console, but most people use the ! chat command):
- .setup, begins the setup phase and sets the pug leader
- .10man, an alias of setup with 5v5, captains, and a mapvote
- .ready
- .notready
- .pause requests a pause (which takes effect next freezetime)
- .unpause request an unpause
- .start starts the game if auto-live has been disabled
- .capt gives the pug leader a menu to select captains
- .rand selects random captains
- .leader gives a menu to change the game leader
- .endgame force ends the game safely (only the leader can do this, note that this resets the leader to nobody)
- .forceend force ends the game without a confirmation menu
- .stay chooses to stay after winning a knife round
- .swap chooses to swap after winning a knife round
- .ct chooses to start on ct after winning a knife round
- .t chooses to start on ct after winning a knife round
You can also type !ready instead of .ready, or !capt instead of .capt, etc.
Note: above are actually only chat aliases of the commands - the "true" command of .ready is the console command sm_ready. This is true for all pugsetup commands. Being able to type !ready, /ready, or .ready in chat are simply for convenience.
Have fun!
What was the password for Meathook again? Thx:)
ATTENTION ALL!
Password is HERE (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?3363-Server-Password)
We have a strict policy of members only on Meathook (and any of our other passworded servers)
If you have a friend who wants to play, get them to register on the forum FIRST.
I will be issuing bans for breaking this rule.
Thx for the info blunt:)
Wednesday sounds gud half 7- 8 o'clock
I'll be on at 7:30 tonight, how many are going to be about ? do we have 10 people??
I'll do a Steam Group announcement as a reminder.
Tealeaf and I are joining at around 7:30pm, maybe slightly later. I'll see you all on the server tonight. :D
I know Mashed like to do competertive matches so if you guys get a team together I am sure we can arranged something.
Twas good fun last night and after an initial period where it looked like the teams might be imbalanced, the scores started to level and it become a very close match. Great fun
Agreed was good fun, definitely will do it again.
Our team started to grab back some rounds after we realised it was a good idea to have some sort of plan. Ghunda took control and we began to have more of an idea what everyone was doing.
Thanks all for the game

Our plan was to identy where Gunda was and then run away, fast! Unfortunately each time we got close enough to ID him he shot us
