Hey guys due the recent update on my nvidia driver I have a huge fps lost around 200 :( .
I still managed to get around 300 on full settings.
Anyone else has a same problem?
How many fps du u guys paly with?
Thx Peter
I have an old 1GB Radeon 4890HD card and can get 250+. I have all my graphic settings on Medium. I usually set my FPS to my monitor refresh rate though which can help, so 144.
I have also found this https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/2irwng/csgo_ultimate_fps_boost_guide/
errr...its over 60 aint it?
check the nvidia setting and see if any settings have changed that will effect FFS for instance aa or af settings
Yeah, If its constant 60, it could be vsync, but I am unsure of any graphics card which set this on as a standard anymore...
No it's not it I use custom settings on my nvidia driver all the same as it was but for some reason my fps dropped all other drivers are up to date, I am using a 144 Hz monitor and a lot of people told me my fps should match my monitors refres rate but when I play with 500+ fps the game feels a lot better to play
Oh and I forgot to mention I am using win 10:)
did you change from 32bit to 64bit? 300 is more than enough, you shouldn't notice any difference above 60fps

I have 64 bit as my previous op but after installing win 10 everything was fine after a recent update on my nvidia driver that's when the issue started
Roll back?
Tried same results:( I'll double check all the other drivers today might reinstall Windows
Reinstall Windows because you're not getting 500(!!!) fps? I really have seen it all now.
Do a clean install of the previous Nvidia driver, the one you were using before the 'problem'. There's an option in the install wizard which will remove all previous drivers, settings etc.
Tried that as well no hope for me:)
Tbh I'd not bother. If you've lost 200fps and now play on only 300fps then your eyes will not notice any difference whatsoever, so there is zero point in wasting time trying to chase down something this miniscule when it is more than likely down to early OS/driver tuning. Either way, the only place you are actually registering the difference is in your head, if the fps counter was off you'd never have known.
What's your monitor btw?
You're also ramping up your GPU temperature, and using a load of extra watts that you simply don't need.....

This 1 I am using right now
I am trying to figure it out what's cozing the issue it's not a huge problem but I would like to understand why, that's all
