Battlefield and Halo was played very much at dMw LAN IV. Much recommended is capture the flag or king of the hill in Halo.

Call of Duty looks like it will be good multiplayer as well. You could always recommend that they play cs1.5 as well!!!

They were still playing CS1.5 untill now, any ideas when CS 1.6 goes LAN or is there no date yet or is Steam not working on it?

Well that's not gonna help I think.  :(
He's holding it in a school but I don't think he's going to be allowed to use internet there. So still 1.5, ahwell.

Play Halo, it monopolised our LAN completely, especially Capture The Flag, as Sadako said.

Personally I was awesome, especially the bit where I spawn camped with a mini-gun. Very unpopular  :narnar:

Well i highly reccomend being alot of players in  Battlefield. It's awsome.. especially if you sitting next to each other in teams, so you can plan and speak with each other.

I find that most of the tactics element goes lost when there is no good way of communication :(

But BF is awsome in multiplayer.. really chaotic at time :D

Does no one read the forum? 1.6 on LAN (http://forum.deadmen.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=4678) Check it out. Looks like the answer seeing as how Steam is dragging it's heels.
