Electric Cars - sort of glorified milk floats aren't they?
Image how ridiculous it would be to drag race a quarter of a million pound V12 Ferrari supercar against a silly £67,000 production model electric car.
Yes it's a bit like comparing oranges with apples but it was only a few years ago that electric cars were good for about 40mph and 100 mile range. Technology eh.
They have those Tesla's (give or take) as taxi's at the airport in Brussels. They are lovely to ride in and you get a free charge at the local dealer apparently whilst you have a copy and read a paper. Definitely would consider one if there was one I could get the dogs in.
I am waiting for the hydrogen car to become mass produced and supported I think that is where us saving the planet really will start while at the same time be able to use the car with out having to plan for every 150 200 mile recharge

I've spent all afternoon trying to work out how I can afford to lease hire one. £600 per month when I could get the Outlander...where'd the fun in that be. Damn you Smilo, I've started adding up petrol, tax etc etc. So far I'm up to an unnecessary cost with my guzzler of £2300....it's not enough, I wonder if emotional distress counts?
Plus I'd enjoy smoking Fatbob through the streets of March...0-30 only :)
