Ah Hyperion, I love that book. I've read it many times, a long with the sequels. It'll be interesting to see what the TV adaptation turns out like - I imagine it'll lose some of the denser references to Keats and classical poets/poems and will probably be more straight science fiction. I'll wait until other people have read it before sharing my incoherent thoughts
