I need combat pilots to play each evening until next Wednesday between 7.30pm and 10.00pm UK time.
The reason? I have a new player who I am attempting to get to rank 5 for Arissa Lavigny Duval in a single week. This requires 10,000 merits, but is quite do-able in the time frame.
What I need is to be able to create a wing of four (so two extra players are needed each evening) on dMw TeamSpeak so we can co-ordinate targets. 1,300-2,000 merits in an hour are achievable, so it's not a gruelling task. As long as each commander scores one hit with the wing, all pilots get 10 merits each and with four ships firing, targets go down very fast.
What's in it for you? The same thing as the new commander. 50M CR and a week's worth of bounty hunting with 200%+ payouts.
So, who's up for some pew-pew?
Remember, 1.4 is released on Tuesday, so you'll have new ships and CQCC to play with, so if you are coming back to the game, now is a good time to scrape off those rusty skills!
I'm around on Monday-Tuesday evenings and would certainly be willing to help, even if I haven't played in over a month and am pootling around in a weedy Cobra. I could certaintly do with some games and extra credits.

We managed 2,000 merits yesterday (without getting dead) so three more days and around 5,000 left to go for CMDR Satvia (5pence) to hit the magic 10,000. Any help with winging up?

To get the Merits, you need to be pledged to Arissa Lavigny Duval, if you are pledged to another power you'd need to defect, so don't worry about this - if you are not, then you can join up.
Once with ALD, fly to the HIP 35246 system (pretty sure that's it) near to Rabh. There we wing up and jump into a "crime sweep" which is like a combat zone and kill for merits. When merits are handed it, you get paid a cursor amount. The objective is power rank. The end-goal is rank 5, which comes with a 50M Cr pay cheque at the next powerplay cycle (1 week from Thursday). You can then choose to earn half the merits (5,000) per week to sustain the rank and get 50Mcr every week. Also with ALD you get 200% + bounties in controlled systems like Exioce, so an hour's pew-pew can earn 4-10M cr easy!

I've moved my ship over to HIP 35246 and I'll boot the game up tomorrow morning and change allegiance to ALD (I was still with Edmund McMuffin which shows how long long its been since I've played ED) and will try again tomorrow evening. I managed to get 5005 merits, so my penalty for next weeks should be low(here`s hoping)
Remember the more you go over your merit cap (10k for us) the more you will have to earn next week!

Saw you online, but in SOLO. Hopefully tonight you can join us in OPEN - it's probably too late for getting you to Rank 5 this week, but if you get rank 4 (1,500 merits) you will get 5M cr per week pay, so still worth coming on for one night.
Last night I made my 10,000 merits after four days, as after the EGX I hadn't played for five days and lost all my merits in the last PowerPlay cycle.
