Just found it in my recommended games and thought I'd give it a go.
Interesting and seems fun, if a little complicated. Any advice on progression appreciated, I chose excalibur? Seems pretty good, but sooo much choice for weapons etc I don't know where to start!
Cheers,
J
I don't play any more (though I would if I could) but I recommend just trying to complete the star chart before trying to do something overly complicated. It will allow you to progress through the game at your own pace and will let you figure out which mechanics you want to invest into the most. Have fun playing!
I haven't played it in a couple of months now. Me and Albert used to play it quit a bit. You'll get the hang of it easily though.
Haven't played in ages.
Excalibur is fine, I personally chose Loki as its stealth is handy for starting out.
As for weapons, focus on getting better automatic stuff for starting out. Aim to get Saryn asap as she is very tanky while still being mobile, and having seriously good abilities. I had a lot of warframes unlocked, and kept going back to her over and over.
Don't sell extra cards. Keep them for upgrading others.
Loki is no longer an option as a starting frame, the starting frames are now Volt, Mag and Excalibur + saryn is now a more complex frame in her game play, still loads of fun (if not more so) but definitely not a starter frame.
I still play. Want to join our Clan? It has a Dojo designed by Gorion and Decorated by Duvel, consisting of lots of nice colours, all the rooms we would ever need an lots of snow men.
I started catching up on the Quests that I missed over the last year and I must say single player even the Natah and the Second Dream quests were amazing. The new schools of focus enhancements are interesting. We now have a young Tenno buddy locked up in the trunk of your spaceship. Seriously, this game is still awesome.
