Could be a complete disaster.
Pitch Black worked only because a big studio didn't get the chance to bugger up a razor sharp script and substitute quality character actors with Hollywood names.
This has crappy cash in sequel and Vin Deisel vehicle written all over it.
I give it fifty fifty chance of being good.
Pitch Black ruled, but then again i cant imagine yet how a sequel can eb made. It was really cool Pitch Black, but some movies just needs to stay with that first, and leave the audience hanging.
But lets wait and see.. i'm personally gonna check it out.. but i seriously doubt it being as good as pitch black :D
It appears that the only thing the two films will share in common is Riddick Bow. Still it might turn out to be a belter. Time will tell.
I liked the look of the trailer....it has potential.
