Guys, can you help me out?
I have access to a wireless point that is authenticated by www. It only allows one access at a time so what I'd like to do is share that connection to multiple devices.
In short;
wifi---->laptop/repeater (authenticated)---new ssid--> multiple devices
So in essence the laptop/router/repeater holds the www session open so the other devices simply connect to the local wifi. I have a basic repeater which will re-ssid but it won't login to the source and then pass on. It also won't pass through the authentication.
Any ideas? Ideally that I can use the laptop as a bounce station but ultimately through a device so that others can use it when I'm not here?
Quoteit won't login to the source and then pass on. It also won't pass through the authentication.
That's the bit which is going to make this hard, as it's almost certainly by design to stop people doing what you want to do :)
Maybe you could do something with Linux acting as a router? [/COLOR]
And that, my Stefan Freund, is where I run dry. Hence my plea for help...what about a raspberry pi? Any of you propellor heads any good at pi?
(Please :))
