Hi all,
Many of you won't know me and but will probably know my teammates: Paddyfhs, Nuka, CheesePuff and Sam. We are a group that like to play as a team for competitive matches.
When we first started out as a group we were okay, we were winning some and losing some. However, quite recently we seem to be doing more of the losing, and when we mean more we mean all of the time.
We are struggling to keep it together as a team and it is now affecting how we play together, so we decided if we could ask the dMw CSGO players for help! We have already discussed playing in the CSGO night but we feel like we would just be there to get worse as we all know that the majority of dMw csgo'rs (=S sure that'll work) are quite good at the game. By no means are we asking for the csgo night to be loosened, we are just asking if one or two people could spare some time at some point to watch/play with us to see how we are and help give us tips, advice or general opinions on how we can develop our play so we can actually progress in this game. We all play quite a bit and its getting frustrating that we seem to be just staying in one place on the scoreboard.
Our current Comp ranks are:
Puff: Nova 3
Nuka: Nova 2
Paddy: Nova 2
addx9: Nova 1
Sam: UnRanked
Thank you for taking the time to read and if anyone could help out it would be fantastic but of course nobody has too =D.
Best thing I can think of is to join the server and play a bit with us.
Someone will critique you for sure ;)

What the boss said ^^
Also do you guys do map walks? I.e have a walk around a map together with no enemy? working on smokes, flash's ? I would suggest doing that as a team and coming up with strategies for the maps you want to play.
Just be organised between yourselves, everyone should know what their role is during each round depending on what resources you have available, pick a 'captain' to call the shots during the start of each round so everyone knows what they are doing etc..
I'm no good at the game itself personally but playing as a team with the right ideas will help you a lot in comp.
alright! :D Thanks guys, I think we will come on the server some more i'll get the others to have a gander! XD

This is a great idea thanks we will definitely be some map walks, and we'll try to decipher everyone's strongest role! thanks!
You can almost join every night. Afterwards, there are always players up for MM. Jewelz, Gibbo, King Chico, myself. If you want I can invite u to one of our matches.
Probably you're not doing anything wrong, just having a bad run.
Add me to Steam if you want, then I can invite you in our lobby some time! It's not that I'm the greatest
CSGO player, but I'm quite okay at working together as a team!
There are a couple of threads already that have some tips you might find useful.
These are the ones I've found by doing a little digging: http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?42072-Tips-for-beginners and http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?41570-CS-GO-Tips-and-Advice-Exchange
One thing I'd recommend is that if you're all playing regularly together then you should learn the smokes for your most common maps. The maps I would recommend are as follows: Dust II, Inferno, Mirage and Cache; you'd be surprised how much a couple of well thrown, well coordinated smokes can change a round's outcome. An example of this is this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca7HZpDUJEU) I made a while back, the four people I played with most and myself just went into an offline game and found smokes we could throw very easily to help take A site on Cache, I then spent time putting these smokes into a video so that we could all use that as a reference point. If you're going to do smokes though make sure you've got TrilluXe's jump bind so that you're consistently throwing the same smokes.
Another tip is that you should learn when to "eco" (save your money by just buying a cheap pistol), when to "force" (buy up as much as you can though you might not have money for nades - this generally means buying SMGs) or when to "full buy" (when you can buy everything you need - guns and nades included). Simple economic strategy can devastate the enemy team's chances of winning a round or even a match by forcing them to spend more or less money than they should.
Good luck in those competitive games!
Hi guys! It means a lot to all of us to hear that you're all willing to give us tips and that some of you are evenue offering you time to help us out a little!
Hopefully with assistance, we can start our path to becoming better players and a better team!

Will reply properly when more time but as a start I would echo what Dex, Sparko and prob a few others mentioned. Learn smokes and learn to coordinate flashes. Learn to walk, amazing how many people don't. If your team mate has walked somewhere and has the element of surprise, don't gallop up behind him like an elephant before the push.
Watch youtube videos, loads of good ones on how to get better.
Play deathmatch to warm up beforehand.
Watch demos/twitch/comp games. You can pick up some simple ideas and grenade spots from these. You will also learn some call outs for the map as well. Too often people are in a hurry, the round is just about 2 minutes long and it takes 4 seconds to plant so why try and rush some where in the first few seconds and throw away the round? Communicate, learn the map, go together. Grenades are huge in cs so learning how to use them is vital. Have a team mate flash you in before you attack somewhere, drop a smoke for cover as you plant, set up cross fires so you can at least trade kills, try and get an entry frag or the first frag at least as this can cause the other team to react and change positions and strategies very early on. Learn when to buy up and when to eco, learn when the other team are doing the same, if the other team are ecoing as you win the first round or 2 then being more aggressive can help. Stick to to playing 1 map for a while and nailing this before trying to play all of them.
