Q: What happens when you drive like a tool in a Red Bull F1 car?
A: You lose your F1 seat.
Today it was announced that Max Verstappen has been promoted into the Red Bull team to replace Daniil Kvyat for rest of season. Kvyat is demoted down to the Torro Rosso team and will spend the rest of the season there licking his wounds and claming it was not his fault.
Justice is served.
I think that was a bit harsh, He was a tool at the last race, which did annoy me but he did get on the podium on the last race. I suspect there is more to this story than what is being told.

He's been a tool for a while with some of his "coming through" overtakes which leave the person in front to either retain the racing line (as entitled) or be T-boned by KY who has a bit of a scary lock up in progress.
The background is that the Russian Gp was simply a straw that broke the camel's back. KY had already lost the Red Bull seat to Verstappen for 2017, so this one simply triggered them to bring the already planned move forward to 2016.
