So these guys designed and released the GT touch enabled mouse a couple of years ago, I think TL also pledged.

Well take a look at this mouse, rather cool.

The GT is still awesome and everywhere I go people ask about it and where they can buy one.

So I might be tempted to back this one too, it looks highly interesting!

I've backed.  Nice concept, definitely handy and that cube holder can be used with other mice.

You should suggest that option Pen, it's quite possible as some companies have been making interchangeable grips.  They might be willing to add the feature as a stretch goal.

It's definitely a problem, I can't see why an ambidextrous design can't be created. It's the same with Joysticks, although the guy who uses 2 x T16000 Thrustmasters seems to be onto something since they are affordable and non hand specific.

They posted a comment regarding left handed mice:
@Christian, we absolutely intend to launch a left handed version, but unfortunately won't be until after the Kickstarter campaign, once we start retail sales.... thanks for your idea on this. One of our team is left-handed and uses The Z successfully, but we recommend right hand use.

They have just introduced a referral program, and this is my referral link (https://emails.kickstarter.com/mpss/c/6AA/6TYCAA/t.1z7/kwzCEeIrQbSR9P8NYe7cnw/h1/Kvh8eyEDYxccobuZZtapCUX-2Buyj4rUau9-2F7EUH2fWjH-2FqtcaNBvr7Xidv1n2-2FP1gGbBLluGjydl0BdpUTJQGNgU-2BNd-2BA-2BvLMP7kVoFaZ-2BcKSK-2Fw4hb58rTEHgNRNEMGo3kPHdsIDEdQL47QRBhTMVA-3D-3D).

If you plan to back the project, consider using my link, and save me some money.  I'll share the spoils with beer at the lan ;)

So who got one and what do you think so far?

I haven't done much more than use it as a traditional mouse. I do use the X axis tilt for look Q or E in PUBG. I also tried using it in Pulsar to fly the ship, seemed to work as expected. The DPI level is crazy high.

Only issue is it doesn't lik ASMedia USB Hub ports on my motherboard, it blue screens the PC in one of these and it also won't mouse control the BIOS. But not show stoppers. For $154 US I think it was a good deal.

I passed in the end, still running my Razer.

Yeah it seems this thing is trying to do too many thing that belong to keyboards, controllers, and joysticks. I don't really want my mouse to do more than just the basics... that said I'd be curious enough to test the bells and whistles should it end up at a lan...

I have one, but it has only come out of the box to take a look at it.  Recently purchased a G502 to replace my aging Mionix Naos 8200 (great mouse), so haven't had a reason to use it.

Have to pull it out and give it a try later on.

It's a really nice balance and size, with lots of easily accessible buttons. I'm impressed so far.

Still in the box.  One has to "assemble" some bits and pieces as you can see from the picture I snapped.  Comes with a mouse mat (rolled in the box) and a nice looking wire organiser.

There are magnetic attachments for the bbase to make it either flat and leve, or tilt, then there's is on that actuallly blocks the laser and you use only the gyro/ acceler features like as a pilot in battlefield games etc.

So my Z mouse centre button/ wheel started to play up. I raised a ticket over Christmas and they were pretty slow to reply. When they did they offered me a replacement and I have that now, 18 months after the original product shipped to me.

Can't complain.
