Title: Primitive+
Post by: SithAfrikaan on July 28, 2016, 09:18:58 PM
Hi everyone!

I'm posting this here to see everyones thoughts that still play Ark
Primitive+ was the mod I was campaigning for behind the scenes to increase the variety of stuff we do in Ark, and on the new map the Centre, but at the time there were more bugs than would have been ideal.
So I think since its now officially supported, and a few of us are still enjoying Ark, but still looking for that "new" feeling, have a look, and let us know.

Looks stunning, but how well maintained is it for patch compatibility?

For me it's a bit early to be starting again with a fresh server.

Does adding a mod also reset the server?

This mod/dlc removes technology, meaning that TEK tier won't be accessible, and a bunch of other stuff is removed.

I don't like that.

It doesn't reset the server but depending on the mod it can totally muck up the server if you don't reset it.  In the case of Primitive+ it would definitely need a reset.

In which case I propose to leave the equilibrium as is for the time being.

Primitive+ could well be the third incarnation for Ark.

Agree with Pen and whitey.

I have a lot I want to do on the new server, I don't want to see a fresh start any time soon.

That said I'm sure interested in primitive plus and would be keen to try it down the road. Itd be good to build a dMw community with primitive, with all of us building together.
