Any thoughts on a test server with few mods? I just read a post about a building mod on here Gorion and sulks seem keen on. Appreciate could break things, but won't know unless we try... how easy is it to do so?

Sith had already suggested Primitive+, I'm also keen on this. But I'm not sure the community at large would appreciate having to start over again so soon. What sort of mods are you guys thinking about?

I think primitive plus needs to come later. Ark v3 as pen said. As ark v2 only just started we need to see that through.  I personally certainly wouldn't want to lose the current server yet, I've a lot still invested in it.

But mods that could be integrated within the current server without a reset is what I'm wondering about, like the little building tweak mod Gorion posted.

Depends on how much fuss adding these would cause, and if even possible.

Aye. I eluded to as much re: get another reset. I think there are some out there. I'll have a research. If we can all try and do the same we can present a few and make a shortlist from that?

Prim+ is definitely a new server - V3. There's still lots to do on the existing. There's areas not explored, caves and the underwater word and air bubbles.

I'm happy to try mods but we do know that they get fubared with updates. As we're currently getting two updates per day I would be reticent to do anything which is going to break itself and/or the server.

Sure, if this is the case then I guess our hands are tied!

Primitive+ from what I have read runs horribly and take minutes to even load. I think our community is far too small to properly enjoy that type of game.
