I was looking for a pair of headphones to use when running that were not cabled and came across these:

Rather nifty and the box is the charger as well.
This is the referral link to the kickstarter, I'd appreciate if you are interested and pledge, do it through this link and any cashback goes to the LAN beer fund!
Cheers,
Bert
Yeah seen these a while back and was tempted with them before. Still tempted now, always have a problem with earphones falling out my ears when jogging in past but the attachable 'wings' are a clever idea. Very well may make a purchase.

Rang a bell with me, saw an add for something similar a bit back.
Syllable D900S (http://www.gearbest.com/d900s-_gear/)
I wonder why/ if there is any difference. Shows that marketing via Kickstarter can reignite a done idea. Maybe they are the same company.

I went for a pair (headphone junkie), enjoy a beer at LAN, I'll be in 'nam :D
Sweet! I noticed they had already updated my account.
I had a set of the Syllable D900S, seemed the perfect thing for the gym.....I sent them back. Loved the idea of totally wireless ear buds but the bloody things seemed to un-pair from each other with alarming regularity, and it's a pain to keep re-pairing mid work out. They were also quite large
and looked a bit weird in your ears, the charging box is a cool idea and held 4 full charges, ideal as only needed to charge the box weekly. The most important thing to me is the sound quality and here they really didn't make the grade at all.
Ended up with a set of Jaybird X2 (http://www.jaybirdsport.com/shop/x2-product/) , totally different league sonically, not totally wireless but fine for my Bluetooth needs. Maybe these Fireflies will be an improvement.
I have a pair of Blue 2's from here;
http://aftershokz.com/
Love 'em. Don't block your ears so you can still hear around you (traffic, dogs, small locomotives) and the charge lasts long enough for my long runs with no issues at all. Bluetooth never drops and frankly I like the tech. Oh and they're shower and sweat proof.
They sit in front of your ears and just work.
Not sure they would match my Lycra gym chaps tbh.
Just a heads up, I dropped one of these earbuds on a relatively soft surface, rug on the floor, and it now buzzes and is useless.
The manufacturer have acknowledge the warranty claim and are awaiting stock with which to replace them. They say they discovered a QC issue with some of their early stock (never told me that before now) and will replace them.
Otherwise, the sound and comfort of these are great, battery life is better than I expected and the convenience is perfect.
Wakey wakey old thread.
Just replaced my gym buds for these (https://www.cambridgeaudio.com/gbr/en/products/melomania-1).
OMG, they are excellent, if your looking for wireless ear buds check these out, seriously good.
10 Lion star award.
I'm desperate to know what these are like for staying in your ears when doing exercise if they are replacing your gym buds Lionheart???
I tried for an hour to find a reputable site to buy these from in NL.
Can't believe none of the Amazon sites deliver Cambridge Audio from the manufacturer shop to the Netherlands. Even .uk and .de when they are prime applicable, and we have prime.
Amazon are messing with the NL market in a bad way right now, trying to get Amazon.nl up and running but they have literally junk on there and then books. But they are still trying to get Dutch residents to relinquish the .de prime for the Dutch prime that has BS content.

Well, not been able to test these in my gym yet, but they seem really solid once in, I've done the Jumpy up and down and shake your head thing all ok.
Thing with buds is fit is critical and everybody's ears are different, you get 4 sets of tips of differing sizes, silicon and foam. I found the medium foam to be perfect.
You can buy other tips on Amazon but as the Tips have an internal diameter of 6.5mm you need to be sure they fit. Amazon sell these (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Comply-T-600-Isolation-Pairs-Pads-Black/dp/B01M6C69RI) which are supposed to be excellent as they expand when warm giving a perfect seal, I'll invest in some if the standard ones give me any grief.
Response from Cambridge Audio:
Dear Greig,
Thank you for contacting Cambridge Audio and your interest in our product which we really appreciate.
Unfortunately, we have to inform you that our product is currently not available in the Netherlands. There are currently no plans to release these in the Netherlands at the moment, however, this may change, depending on the demand of the Melomania 1 in your region.
I'm afraid I can't direct you anywhere as there are no official retailers there as well.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks for the offer but I should be somewhere they're shipped to soon enough, in Germany in a few weeks.
