I want to try to push more content onto the main page of this site. I've added an item related to a new ship in Star Citizen but would like to add stuff about all the games we support. I'll, add anything I think is relevent but I'm obviousl;y not as up to speed with the supported games as you guys are.
I'm only looking to do a couple of articles a week but if any of your games receive important patches or big news items give me a PM. Badging up admins and minor new game features probably wouldn't warrant an article but anything important can go up.
Also FYI we'll be cleaning up the forums soon with games we don't support loosing their 'Community Sections' forums etc. Nothing gets deleted just moved or archived.

Game leaders now have the ability to promote their forum posts to articles i.e that appear on the front page of the website.
A few things to note.
1. You will need to create a forum post first and then promote the post to an article.
2. The 'promote to article' button should now appear at the bottom of the forum post on the left.
3. Press this and you go to the article screen.
4. There are a lot of probably irrelevant options and buttons that can normally be ignored.
5. Check the 'published' radio button or your article won't be published to the front page
6. Just hit the big green 'Apply' button and your done. The forum post will be converted to an article.
7. By default the forum post is removed and replaced with a front page article, comments are set to 'on' (so it still works like a post that people can reply to etc.
8. If you want to keep the forum post and have the article (which will probably split comments and conversations between the two and is a bad idea :) ) check or uncheck the appropriate radio button.
Any problems shout.
Finally please remember that as more articles are posted so older ones move down the page and eventually are pushed of completely. I don't imagine we'll get a flood or articles each day but please try to let earlier articles sit somewhere on the front page for a day or two before you add too many new ones and relegate them.

Highlighting this as it is important, I think. I will keep an eye on what others have posted and give breathing room if I plan to post anything after! I will also only be posting game info I think particularly key up there, but LAN info will mostly all be pushed to article of course (the first of which you can see now :woot2:).
