So this is an interesting announcement: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2016/10/27/titanfall-2-season-pass/
Not having to pay for future maps means I will probably pick this up, pending reviews. Fracturing the player base with payed-for maps/levels was what did for the first game, it was a great casual shooter until that happened :(
If only DICE could learn the same lessons....
i have titanfall and also have tried the t2 demo and i can say its great, cod with great frikken robots ftw!!!

Good move respawn. If the game is good, this approach would definitely make me more likely to consider it. And not only as a '2 fingers up' gesture to the likes of EA.

for your viewing pleasure.
Not sure it is enough to pull me away from Overwatch...
I enjoyed the first one but after a few hours it just ran out of content and it wasn't hard to keep people interested in playing it more. With all the new titans instead of just three and the way they I proved the pilot combat this game sounds to be very good, a few podcasts I listen to really liked this game and it would be interesting to see which is better between this and the other two main shooters out this time of the year. I will keep an eye on this one and wait for the reviews
Titanfall 2 single player is genius and probably worth the price of admission all by itself. No idea about multiplayer, most reviews say it stinks. But with a single player game of this quality frankly I don't care.

Just to clarify smilo that's your personal opinion?
Interesting if that's the case!
I've heard very good things about the single player - though it is apparently very short.

Just to say, Titanfall 2 is currently on sale for just under £7 on the EA store. With everyone absolutely loving Apex (myself included), many have recommended Titanfall 2 as a fun single player game well worth trying if you're enjoying Apex.
I didn't play it on release, so have picked it up from the store now. Cheers all who recommended it - there were many!
Can't wait to hear what you think of it dude, and if you want to give multiplayer a go give me a bump, but bash that single player campaign out and enjoy it!
