Croc was slaughtering stuff I managed to kill it before it got the higher level croc. but it was really insanely close!
Need the pen for the animals more secure since our croc just hopped the fence and into the water once the lystrosaurus was being bitten...
not sparky :( never mind these things happen. sadly our raptor toothless died aswell today aswell as the croc i tamed and the little thing that goes on your shoulder lived for like 5 mins with me ... not a great morning. this dlc is truly hard
Ahwell.... I was already thinking off making a high gate and enclosure, it's definitely the plan now.
Molly, the 2 raptors and the wolf are more important to be honoust.
We need more safety like fast bros, the deaths are getting hard to control, a Thorny Dragon just wasted some of our stuff and a Para stomped our little dudes to death, even though it was in the water :(

yeah i agree with duvel on your own is just not working this DLC really need you to work as a group and a team...which i like so i should be on in the morning to play poke the dino with a stick with you duvel :D

okay my adventures went.... okay i guess only one death in 2 hours. i was about to tame another croc and sadly killed lvl 112 wolf when i was trying to knock it out with a boomerang...this was very sad. WATCH out tho there seem to be more deadly dinos in the area now, raptors and wolfs were one thing now we have a lot of scorpions and millipedes ( they hurt and almost knocked one out but it ran away ) there was also a vulture that didnt like me. good luck who ever else dares to go on there.
As we now have more of a community base, there's a few things I reckon still need to be mentioned.
-If you see a Rock Elemental around the base, please try and kite it away. So far we don't have the resources and such to take 1 down (or tame it). For other dinos: I suggest that if you want to tame it, kite it to the pond near the base. There's a nice ledge where you can start hitting it with a boomerang or tranc it with a bow and narco arrows.
-If you use any of the mats, also make sure to stock them up again so others can use the mats also. Also please respect personal named boxes, otherwise people might have to lock them up.
-If you use any of the BluePrints, please place them back. I think we need a special box for this. I'm giving some off the duplicates for now to Sith.
-If you need help with anything, give a shout on TS.
Pen has mentioned we need a WhatToDo-list (maybe worth a new thread?). Those Argies were looking really nice yesterday. I think before we head out next time on any wolfs or such, we need to be stocked up a bit more with survival gear (torches, better clothes, spare clothes or mats so you can fix them, campfires, pikes, etc...). We also need another Molly and some other extra work dinos.
Also another thing I'd like to mention:
-We now have a few nice wolfs and moths and such. A few wolfs and raptors that were personaly owned got killed. Stuff like this can happen on this map (especially when they are on follow and you come upon a Rock Elemental, I've learned it the hard way). I think you need to reimburse the person if it got lost by someone who borrowed a wolf/moth or other dino (except the Jerboas Sith). The wolfs can be bred easily, not sure about the moths yet. What do you guys think of this? I know we'll end up with quit a few wolfs anyway and a few spares but now were low on numbers.

As said yesterday: Sorry for the little shout over TS yesterday but me and Pen needed to get back those wolfs safely and there was just to much chatter going on.
For the rest it was really intens yesterday but also enjoyable. Lots of teambased things going on, the base wall is almost done, we might need a little fence at the waterside, just in case.

Good point's Duv. I apologize for having such an ugly fat character and making addx9 game crash, dying when out on a wolf and a moth and generally being a n00b.
I'll try and gather enough resources to help next time I'm online. I think I used up 2 sets of Desert Clothing, one had goggles. But I think they came back in PEN's wolf as I managed to transfer my gear before dying. The moth I have no idea what happened to that one.
Also consider taking a tent with you if you're heading out far. This will protect you from the extremes of temperature and sandstorms.
We are playing this more of a collective than previously and I do agree about shared resources ...... I'm sure I heard someone recently say “You drink from the well; you replenish the wellâ€. We may not be in a zombie apocalypse but it's close. :norty:. Ultimately, please replace resources you use.
With dinos it's harder. I've had animals killed which were in use by someone else and have been in a group where the reverse has happened. I think the best way forward is this:
Group Dinos: These should have the suffix dMw-{dino name}. These dinos are free for people to use for everyday chores. Please try not to get them killed.
Personal Dinos: These should have the suffix {player name}-{dino name}. These should NOT be used for everyday use unless you have to. Please be ultra-careful with them and do try to use group dinos first.
At no stage should all the dinos from one species be put in danger really. We should endeavour to have a male and female of each in a safe location.
We will breed up a set of wolves and moths for group use. You are also free to breed your own from our stock.
PS. DuVeL has mentioned to respect people's personally named storage chests. I ask that you just, in fact, pin code them now. It saves for any long-term misunderstanding.

some great ideas by you both duvel and pen this map requires us to work otgether else we wont get to far in it and right now it all seems to be going well with pen, duvel and sith grinding hard to get us a safe base and some good dinos. The group and personal dinos are a must for those you don't want to see die. I think when able to we should get some wolves bread this way we get better levels and these are great dinos that anyone can then use. like duvel said these are easy to breed and should take to long for us to have a nice number of these dinos.
i find this game hard on its own so i normally join when other are online so that you can help each other out otherwise i play it to safe and don't get much done :)
Also houses in the base should be something to discuss, right now we have duvels and pen house which is still a work in progress followed by siths base which is right next to it. I have started to build on the corner of the base out of peoples way and will turn it into a sort of look out tower so we can see whats around us and make sure them rock elemental ain't getting to close ... or that dragon
Just found out that Moth's CAN'T be bred so we're going to need to tame them if we want them.
That suddenly makes them a whole lot more valuable.
I haven't seen a death message from the one from last night so it would be nice to try to find it !

I was being sarcastic,everyone was having a laugh at my character last night and I also made every mistake I could.;-)
To be fair she is hideous. I kept whipping you in the vain hope it may make you more attractive.

I'm sure I can find it easily if I have a way to get there without overheating or being eaten. Were we near the Red Obelisk, if so then 70 by 50 is where I think I was (without seeing the game right now).

So the electrical storms can actually destroy them and they're actually not worth making. According to the internetz the wind turbine is the way to go. We do have a fridge and such running further up near the desert as we have wind 100% up there. Please don't use the old fridge, it's now more like an art nouveau piece.
Several dino's have died tonight, 2 Kaprosuchus atleast, my wolf.... I'll try and replace the crocs.
Anyway, started up the wind turbine farm, hope this wil work. Still bummed out because the generator will not work on this map. It's one stupid thing after another..........
